Before starting The Law Offices of George U. Aigbe, managing attorney, George Aigbe, served as a Prosecutor in Gwinnett County. He handled a variety of criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses to serious felonies. Serving as an Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General, Attorney Aigbe cultivated relationships with the many Judges serving in Gwinnett. He also received invaluable inside knowledge in how the State develops a case against a person. Attorney Aigbe understands the strengths and weaknesses of a criminal case, and is dedicated to giving his clients the best advice concerning your legal matters. George U. Aigbe
A native son of Gwinnett County, George Aigbe graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Sciences. He then received his Master Degree in Public Administration in 2012 from Georgia Southern University. After working in the public sector for a year, Mr. Aigbe pursued his passion for justice by entering the 2013 class at Georgia State University College of Law. As a law student, he worked in the Decatur-based immigration law firm, The Prince Firm, LLC. At the same time, Mr. Aigbe received invaluable experiences as an apprentice in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting felonies. Attorney Aigbe graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2016.
Upon graduation from Law School, he joined the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office as a prosecutor handling misdemeanor crimes. After two years with the Solicitor’s Office, Mr. Aigbe joined the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting a variety of felony crimes. His time as a prosecutor gave him a unique insight into the criminal justice system and how criminal charges implicate immigration concerns.
